AIthena at ROSCon 2024: Open-source release and dataset presentation

The AIthena project consortium is proud to announce that Jean-Pierre Busch from our partner institute, ika, will be presenting at ROSCon 2024, held in Denmark.

As part of AIthena’s ongoing commitment to promoting open-source solutions in the field of intelligent transport, Jean-Pierre will be speaking on “Integration of ETSI ITS Messages for V2X Communication in ROS” in the “Embedded and industrial applications” session.

This presentation is scheduled for 22 October 2024, from 16:30 to 16:50. Jean-Pierre will present a major open-source code release along with a comprehensive dataset aimed at improving V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication in ROS (Robot Operating System). His presentation will emphasize the integration of ETSI ITS messages, a key step towards improving interoperability between intelligent transport systems and autonomous vehicles.
