AIthena at the EUCAD 2025 Conference

The 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2025) will take place on 13-15 May 2025 at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy.

The EUCAD 2025 will bring together industry, research and policy makers to discuss whether technology and society are ready for the deployment of smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility solutions.

”The EUCAD 2025 conference will take stock of latest research, policy, and regulatory developments in the field of Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and demonstrate European projects and recent R&I results supporting the market uptake of CCAM solutions. The Conference will consist of a series of policy-oriented sessions and technical sessions to discuss specific R&I challenges and opportunities for CCAM, in parallel with an exhibition and demonstrations of European and national R&I CCAM projects, accessible throughout the duration of the event.”

You will find the AIthena booth in the EUCAD exhibition area with videos of experiments and other offline demonstrations of trustworthy AI modules and solutions for CCAM. There will also be a static demonstration of AIthena’s real-time anonymisation solution using GenAI.

On 15 May, as a side event of the EUCAD, we are organising the AIthena 3rd Practitioners Workshop, led by the IRU: “How can AI revolutionise road transport?”.

Through expert insights and interactive discussions, participants will explore real-world applications, emerging challenges and opportunities for innovation in the sector. Topics will include:

  • Presentation of the AIthena project.
  • Innovations from the AIthena project & their real-world applications.
  • State-of-the-art & real-world AI applications in transport and mobility.
