AIthena consortium meeting in Graz

The AIthena project (AI-Based CCAM: Trustworthy, Explainable, and Accountable) is contributing to the creation of an Explainable AI (XAI) in Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) development and testing frameworks by exploring three main AI pillars: data, models, and testing.

The AIthena consortium partners met in Graz, Austria on 27-28 November 2024. The face-to-face meeting was kindly hosted by the Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH.

During the two-day event, the Work Package Leaders, supported by the Task Leaders and other project partners, presented the status of their respective activities and tasks performed, as well as the next steps for the final year of the project.

The AIthena coordinator, Oihana Otaegui Madurga (Vicomtech), emphasised that the consortium will focus its efforts in the final year on presenting the AIthena results and outputs to a wider community around AI and CCAM. For the AIthena consortium, the aim is that the AIthena results will support the implementation of future CCAM large-scale deployment projects.
