EUCAD 2025

The 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2025) will be held on 13-15 May 2025 at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy.

The EUCAD 2025 will bring together industry, research and policy makers to discuss whether technology and society are ready for the deployment of smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility solutions.

“”The EUCAD 2025 conference will take stock of latest research, policy, and regulatory developments in the field of Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and demonstrate European projects and recent R&I results supporting the market uptake of CCAM solutions. The Conference will consist of a series of policy-oriented sessions and technical sessions to discuss specific R&I challenges and opportunities for CCAM, in parallel with an exhibition and demonstrations of European and national R&I CCAM projects, accessible throughout the duration of the event.””

The AIthena project coordinator and partners will attend the EUCAD conference in Ispra.

EUCAD 2025 Call for Sessions is open now.

The purpose of this Call for Sessions is to receive proposals for the organisation of conference sessions on one of the selected themes for EUCAD 2025:

  • Integrated mobility in CCAM including Remote Management Operations
  • Digital infrastructure and its role to scale up CCAM services
  • Key enabling technologies
  • Solutions to complement public transport for passengers and goods Peri-urban, rural and long-haul
  • Lessons learnt and to be learnt regarding CCAM deployment for passengers and goods
  • Societal added value and potential challenges of CCAM
  • Out-of-the box

The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2024, 17:00 CET.
