The AIthena project is pleased to announce that the research paper: “V2AIX: A Multi-Modal Real-World Dataset of ETSI ITS V2X Messages in Public Road Traffic,” has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious IEEE ITSC 2024 conference.
This innovative paper will be presented by Guido Kueppers from ika during the “Communications and Protocols in ITS” session on Wednesday, 25 September from 10:30 to 10:50.
The conference, to be held in Edmonton, Canada, from 24 to 27 September, will focus on innovations in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
The paper “V2AIX: A Multi-Modal Real-World Dataset of ETSI ITS V2X Messages in Public Road Traffic” addresses the growing importance of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, providing unique insights through a comprehensive dataset collected from real-world public road traffic. The V2AIX dataset is compliant with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) ITS standards and provides invaluable data for AI-based models that can enhance road safety and traffic efficiency. The dataset not only includes standard V2X messages but also integrates multi-modal sensory data, which captures a holistic view of traffic dynamics, making it an essential tool for researchers and developers in the field of automated driving applications.
